first collo hours report

So, for my project proposal for this semester I decided that I was going to devote time to reading more outside of my class-assigned readings. I joined a book club and read the first book titled Sworn to Silence am almost done reading Cat’s Cradle (I love this book). So in terms of hours, I’ve been to 2 two hour long book club sessions (one on 1/27 and one on 2/24). Also, I’d say I’ve probably spent about 7 hours on reading these books and I’m going to focus a little bit harder and get a better weekly routine going with reading. This project is helping me reach my goals though, I wanted to get back into reading for pleasure and also let the books help me become a better writer and artist, and so far they have. I started a new writing/art journal after reading the first half of Cat’s Cradle and I’ve been writing more poetry. I still need to stick to the 2 book a month and reading for a certain number of hours a week thing better, but I’m definitely following through with my project proposal and getting my hours done!
