volunteer hours (3)

Last Saturday (November 3rd) I volunteered at the ETSU’s open house event! I stood at the Honors College table as an “Honors College Ambassador” (I even got a little gold pin to wear) and answered questions from prospective students and their parents. I had a really good time talking with people, helping out students whose current positions I am all to familiar with, and even learning more information for myself about the college. Something that was really exciting for me was being able to talk about the program that I’m in (FPA). A lot of students came up and were curious about the Fine and Performing Arts sector of the Honors College and I got to be enthusiastic and informative about the program that I have experience with and enjoy so much. Seeing people get excited about their options and opportunities for their futures was really sweet and overall, I had a really good time volunteering at this event and would love to do it again!
