Yesterday evening (September 25), I attended the Honors College Potluck! As a freshman, I was assigned to bring a dessert, so I brought a fruit tray from Kroger. Once I got there and placed my fruit tray on the table designated for everyone else’s beautiful, sugary contributions, I sat down with my FPA comrades, Em, Deeba, and Lily. Another FPA (returning) student sat with us and talked to us about our classes and what to expect being in FPA and it was really helpful and informative (thanks Kate!). I ate some pasta… then had a cookie, a cupcake, a brownie, and a donut as me and my FPA friends talked about a myriad of things for about an hour. As the event was coming to a close, we went inside of the Ada Earnest house and got free, blue and gold Honors College™ t-shirts and then went on our separate ways.
